LLondon Dog Owners Association
Next Meeting June 14,2012
Are you
a regular Off Leash park user?
Are you
a member of the London Dog Owners Association?
If you answered yes to both of
these questions then why not help. It’s as easy as taking a stroll
around the park and making a phone call.
We are seeking your assistance to
help us monitor our existing off leash Parks for the safety of the
users, both the dogs and their guardians.
We are currently looking for one or
two people at each of our three existing parks, Greenway, Stoney Creek
and Pottersburg, to report general maintenance needs or Incidents of
concern.
To get involved please email me
advising which park you regularly attend and would be prepared to
monitor. You would report any issues found to our Off Leash Park
Coordinator and keep a record of same ie: date, time, place, issue. You
would not be required to attend our monthly meetings
unless you so desired. All members are welcome to attend any or all of
our meetings.
After all replies are received we
will let you know who has been chosen.
In closing I would state we are all
volunteers and there is strength in numbers.
Any assistance you can provide to
help us better monitor the parks will be greatly appreciated.
Our Purpose Goals &
Objectives: To advocate and encourage responsible dog
ownership and to support the interests of dog owners with respect to
facilities, policies, and practices in cooperation with the City of
London and the London Community
We are now accepting donations for the
off-leash parks and you can get an income tax receipt .
Make the cheque payable to "Treasurer-City of London" and mark on the
cheque "Off Leash Parks"
Please mail all cheques to LDOA and we will
forward to the City with the proper paper work or by PayPal

for ourselves, but for anyone thinking about adopting a dog.
3. Socials -
Opportunities for dog owners to get together with other dog owners.
4. Guest Speakers - Learn
the latest news from a variety of speakers and how it relates to you
and your dog.
